The Makers
Monthly Yarn Club!

We love all things woolly here at The Makers’ House, so much so we have one evening a month dedicated to it!

Whether you are looking to learn how to knit or crochet, would like to make your own arm knitted blanket or would just like to find a place to come and make your stitches with a cuppa and good company, this is the night for you!

Can’t make it? Why not contact us to arrange a 121 or small group session at a time to suit you?

Meet the tutors!

Jaime met Julie before The Makers House came to life; they planned the Fareham Craft Trail together and hit it off instantly - shared family links to Sheffield cemented the friendship! Julie’s pocket pets and cute crochet creations have become very well know on the estate, you can see more on her FB page Julies’ Makes. Julie is a very precious part of the team, sharing her love of squishy parcels and magic rings with the makers community, translating the jargon and troubleshooting patterns. She is also a very stealthy clearer up-er and dishwasher stacker!! We would be lost without her!

Liz is our knitting tutor, as well as our dressmaking teacher and wonderful hostest with the mostest when Jaime isn’t in. She is an all round crafter but does enjoy getting the hooks and needles out in between reading and sewing and loves sharing the basics with those wanting the learn! You can find out more about her on our dressmaking page.
