A group of local residents from the local area have come together to share stories, treasures and useful publications relating to the history of the Uplands Housing Estate and surrounding area.

The Group meet monthly at The Makers’ House, anyone with an interest is welcome to come along and a warm welcome awaits. Bring maps, books, magazines or garden finds, we would love to see them!

Our next meeting dates are:
Tuesday 16th July at 4.30pm (note changed time!)
Thursday 8th August at 4.30pm
Wednesday 11th September at 7pm
Thursday 10th October at 4.30pm
Tuesday 12th November at 7pm
Saturday 7th December at 7pm - Christmas Social!

The Group also host Speakers and Presentations of local history - a small charge is made for these events to help cover costs.
