By popular request, I’m very pleased to offer my first handbag workshop. You’ll make an on-trend neutral macramé bag that’s perfect to pair with your spring and summer outfits. As bags are time-consuming to make, this is a long-form workshop, suitable for beginners and confident knotters alike. You’ll learn two of the foundation macramé knots, lark’s head and square knots, and the more advanced Chinese crown knot.
This workshop lasts around 5 hours and takes place at the lovely Makers’ House in Fareham. Materials are all included, along with a light snack to keep up your strength while you knot! We’ll begin seated but you can choose whether you wish to sit or stand for the rest of the workshop – or a mix of both. If you have any questions about accessibility please do get in touch. Places are limited to 8 on this workshop so that I can give everyone individual attention as needed and make sure you take home a piece of work that you’re proud of.
